Stuff we recommend ...

Peter Bradley Adams
    .......Go there

Americana tinged with intelligence and tons of atmosphere.

Pauline Alexander
    .......Go there

A voice that makes a crystal stream seem rather less pure.

Kellie Cox
    .......Go there

She packs a whole ocean into one song. Beautiful.

Christel Alsos
    .......Go there

I can't afford a brand of chocolate that tastes as good as she sounds.

Sadie Jemmett
    .......Go there

Rootsy and rooted, like the tradition has never stopped moving on.

Lack of time .....    Tuesday 26th May 2009

We've been struggling to do anything at all on the site - and as a result it's pretty well dead.
Rather than abandon the site completely I've decided to replace it with a message board for any open mic, or acousticy sort of musicians to use.
if it does actually get used then I'll try and add extra, possibly even exciting, features to it later. (The engine we use for the message board was built with this in mind.)
It did occur to us to bring the music player back - but we'd rely on contributions to make that worthwhile.
Let us know what you think we should do - and if it is workable we can try it out.

Inactivity at VOM    Wednesday 25th March 2009

You might have noticed that we haven't done any new posts for a while.
Domestic stuff and paying for food and rent stuff have been getting in the way rather heavily lately.
But that doesn't mean that you are not welcome to post Announcements or even your own news about anything on the acoustic scene yourself - use the Guest Post link. In fact you are more than welcome to do so - it's what the site was intended for.
Once you have entered a posting we will check it, just to ensure it isn't anything disreputable or nasty, and then it will appear on the site.
It should be easy, and if it isn't let us know and we will do our best to fix it. In the meantime I'll be trying to make a living.
